Welcome to Rufus Fairbanks Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

We are Rufus Fairbanks Chapter NSDAR of Satellite Beach. Our members include those who live in all areas of Brevard County, as well as many ”snowbirds” visiting Florida for the winter months. Our meetings are held in Satellite Beach on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., except September and January being the second Saturday of the month.

The objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor.

We welcome new members.  Membership in DAR is very rewarding.  To become a member a woman must be at least 18 years old and be able to prove blood descent from a person who rendered patriotic service during the American Revolution.  If you think you are eligible, come to one of our meetings held the first Saturday of the month September through June or send an  e-mail to regent Beth Dewey, or Janice Moore.  Our members are willing to help you find ways to document your lineage.  We are anxious to meet you and have you be part of our chapter.
